Fall Into Books Fest was founded in 2024 by Ayesha of Heartbound Bookshop and author Emily B. Rose of Azurose Designs. It began with a friendship cultivated by two small bookish business owners based out of Anaheim, CA, who want to bring more diverse and financially accessible events to the SoCal community. Emily and Ayesha also loved the idea of a fall-themed book festival, reminiscent of fall festivals and the scholastic book fairs we all loved as kids. And as two women of marginalized identities, with a passion for uplifting the voices most often unrepresented, Fall Into Books Fest was born.
